    Joyful Givers

A response to grace, for the good of others.

At Emmanuel Fellowship, we see generosity as a response to what God has already given us in Jesus. We don’t give to earn God’s favour—we give because, in Christ, we’ve already received grace beyond measure.

In 2 Corinthians 8 and 9, the apostle Paul reminds the church that Christian generosity flows from the gospel itself. He points us to Jesus, “who though he was rich, yet for our sake became poor, so that we through his poverty might become rich.” Our giving is shaped by that example—willing, joyful, and rooted in trust.

The Bible invites believers to give freely, prayerfully, and cheerfully—not under pressure or compulsion. Whether you give regularly, occasionally, or not at all, you are welcome at Emmanuel Fellowship. Giving is an act of worship, not a requirement for belonging.

Financial giving helps support the ongoing mission of the church here in Pāpāmoa. It enables Sunday gatherings, pastoral care, ministry to families, local mission, and the planting of healthy churches for future generations. Through generosity, we take part together in what God is doing in our community.

If Emmanuel Fellowship is your church home, giving is one way to partner in that mission. If you’re visiting or exploring, there is no expectation to give.

We’re grateful for every expression of generosity, and we trust God to provide all that is needed for his work among us.
