Joining a church for the first time can feel uncertain, so here’s what you can expect when you visit Emmanuel Fellowship.

We gather on Sundays at 4pm at the Papamoa Sports and Recreation Centre. Our services are relaxed but intentional—designed to help people engage with God without needing to pretend or perform.

Each week we sing, pray, read the Bible, listen to Scripture taught, and share communion together. Some parts will feel familiar, others may feel new, but everything is explained along the way. You’re welcome to join in, or simply observe and take it at your own pace.

You’ll see people of different ages and stages. We don’t currently run a separate children’s programme. Families are very welcome to stay together for the whole service, and we understand that little ones sometimes need space to move or make noise. There’s a family room to step out and move around, or simply stretch your legs—no one will mind.

Come as you are. Wear what’s comfortable. There’s no pressure to introduce yourself, pray aloud, or give anything. We simply want to make space for people to hear the good news about Jesus and explore faith honestly.
